We have many fond memories of when Ann, Alan, Matthew and Louise lived in Kingston.

Alan was a member of the village fire brigade before the days of mobile phones and bleepers. We could hear the fire siren from our house in the village and would phone Ann and shout "Fire" so that she could raise the alarm for Alan to rush down from the farm to the fire station.

This was a prime example of who Alan was - A truly good person who cared for others and who would always put himself forward to help anyone at any time.
